Many people who are exposed to the economic way of thinking(TEWOT), particularly when applied to government and to thepervasiveness of spillovers in the world, contend that TEWOT isdepressing and that it leads to an increase in selfish behavior. I,on the other hand, contend the opposite: that TEWOT is encouragingwhen looking at the political domain and that it has led me (andshould lead others) to be more altruistic/charitable/civic minded.Using TEWOT, provide a reasoned argument against my position and areasoned argument for it.
