You have been contacted by an all-inclusive resort on the ocean. Their previous pricing structure was all-inclusive - guests paid one price for meals, soft drinks, lodging, use of their beach cabanas, pool, and tennis courts. Guests did pay for alcoholic drinks. The resort is now considering implementing extra charges for the use of the pool, ocean-front cabanas, front-row seating on the beach, early and late check-out, and concierge services. This is an upscale resort where most guests have a family income in excess of $200,000. They are now sure how to proceed or even if they should proceed. Based on the article on complex pricing strategies, what advice would you give them as to how to proceed?
