One of the beauties of Shariah is that it is suitable for all times and places. Moreover, Shariah is neither against technological advancement and its tools nor a new Ijtihad in interpreting the texts of Shariah as long as they don't contradict its established rules and principles. However, in reality, we face serious challenges due to the application of technological advancement as well as knowing the boundaries of Ijtihad. In light of this, analyze and discuss the following situation: a) Ahmad and Zainab were using a joint account in an Islamic bank for the past ten years. Though they never had children they always had a lovely marriage. However, upon the death of Ahmad she found herself in trouble due to disputes over the estate. Ahmad's brothers and sisters claim their right over the money in the account while Zainab argues that the savings in the account mostly belong to her. State the core problems of this dispute and advise the parties as to the best possible solution.
