Please answer the following question about this hypothetical
situation. Either 1.) a friend of yours
called Jasmine has found a small lump in her breast during a
routine breast self-examination
(BSE) or 2.) a friend of yours called
Darius has found a small lump in one of his testicles during a
routine testicular self-examination (TSE). She (Jasmine) or he
(Darius) tells you three things.
1.) They do have not have time to schedule an appointment with a
doctor,
2.) They are sure that the lump is nothing to worry about,
and
3.) They "know" it is not cancer.
It is clear to you that they are in denial. What advice would
you give to either Jasmine or Darius.
