A W16 x 100 is used as a column to carry an axial load of 3000+ P(kn) where P is the summation of student digit number. Design a base plate to support the column with m=0.8n. The base plate is to rest on full area of a concrete compression block with f'c=21mpa and Fy = 345 mpa. Properties of W14 x 550 bf=265mm d=431mm
