question, but it will require thought to get it correct, since unlike our earlier problems there are two materials involved. The end view of a T-beam made of two 8"xl" plates is shown. The vertical web plate is made of A572 Gr. 60 steel, whereas the flange plate is made of A36 steel. Determine Mp for this shape.
