When it comes to thinking of how i use statistics in my everyday life it was a challenge to say the least. One thing i do isplay video games. If I’m playing a competitive game against otherplayers, lets say its myself agains 6 other people. My probabilityof winning is 14%
P(A) = A(A+B) P(A) = 1/(1+6)= .142
when it comes to work I also struggled to see how exactly Iutilize statistics on a daily basis. One of the upcoming events ispromotion to the next rank. Each year they promote a certainamount, for example this year will be est. 10%. For the exampleI’ll say 23454 people were eligible for the next rank but only 10%were promoted this would mean 2,345 people got promoted to the nextrank.
