The governor speed regulation of this system is set to 𝑅 =
0.05 𝑝.𝑒. The turbine rated output is 250
π‘€π‘Š at nominal frequency of 50 𝐻𝑧. A sudden
load change of 50π‘€π‘Š (Δ𝑃# = 0.2 𝑝.𝑒.)
occurs.
i) Find the steady-state frequency deviation in Hz.
ii) Obtain the closed-loop transfer function. Use Matlab β€˜step’
function to obtain the time- domain performance specification and
the frequency deviation step response. Comment on the results.
iii) Construct the SIMULINK block diagram and obtained the
frequency deviation response for the condition
