The surfaces of a lipid bi-layer forming the membrane around a cell with a diameter of 4 um has a charge density of 160 µC/m² on the outside of the bi-layer, and the same amount of negative charge density on the inside. What is the electric field in close proximity of the outer surface of this membrane?
