astic and Inelastic Collisions. (You may have to reload the app to initiate it.) In the application, set the Elasticity to 1.0 (perfectly elastic). Metric (mks) units will be required in all results. Procedure: Follow the instructions in each of the experiments. Answer any questions to finalize the report and submit your results as a PDF in the Moodle lab link. Experiment #1 Leave the Initial Velocity of mass 1, m,, (the red box) at the default velocity of 10 [m/s]. Set the Initial Velocity of mass 2, m2, (the blue box) to a velocity of 0 [m/s]. Make the mass of each box 3 [kg]. Run the application. Using your knowledge of the values of mass and velocity calculate the following (only use KE and momentum results in the app as a check for your calculations): (a) the sum of the momentum of each mass before the collision. (b) the sum of the moment of each mass after the collision. (c) the percentage error between (a) and (b). Change the Elasticity value to 0.9. (d) What do you notice has changed? (e) Do the calculations of (a)-(c) again and note the change in the error. Why has this happened?
