(a) For a 100 resistive load, determine the firing angle at which the rectifier enters the discon- tinuous conduction mode. (b) How will your answers change if an extremely large inductance (with zero resistance) is added in series with the load resistor? (c) Now we remove the extremely large inductor. For a = 65°, determine the load inductance required to add in series with the resistive load to just achieve continuous conduction.
