QUESTION 3 A mixture is first made of 240 cm³ of a 0.412 mol.dm-³ solution of silver nitrate and y cm³ of a 2.00 mol.dm solution of ammonia. Thereafter, 280 cm³ of a 0.0116 mol.dm-³ solution of sodium chloride is added to this mixture and the resulting solution is diluted to 2.50 dm³. Calculate the value of y that will just prevent the precipitation of silver chloride.
