ACIDS:
There are two groups ofacids: - binary acids
- oxy acids
BinaryAcids
1. All have the prefix hydro and end withic.
2. All must contain hydrogen as the first element.
3. All consist of hydrogen with another non-metal
Examples: hydrochloric acid HCl(aq)
hydrosulfuricacid H2S(aq)
hydrocyanic acid HCN(aq)
