This is the problem of tethered space system which consists the space debris connected by a rigid and massless tether to space tug. The aim is finding equation of motion of the system using Lagrangian method. Low thrust is acting on space tug. In addition to that, aerodynamic drag on the debris, tether and tug should be included for generalized force calculation. The picture of the problem is attached below. Please find the following: 1.
