After having watched the YouTube video "Face of America - the Ellis Island Immigration Museum" by GMTV (26 min 25 sec) explain the U.S. immigration process and individuals' experiences. The island closed at some point (dig in to find out when), and a different procedure was employed instead (which one?). BTW, where were the visitors and immigrants processed before Ellis Island? Also, what was the role of Theodore Roosevelt, and later on of Fiorello LaGuardia in the immigration administration? Your two posts should be about 100 words long each.
