In the case of Gregson v Law & Barry, (where a minor contracted for the sale of land), the court held that: the plaintiff was a minor at the time of contracting and therefore the contract could be set aside; the minor plaintiff had intentionally misrepresented her age at the time of contracting, and the court would not assist the minor in committing a fraud the contract was a contract regarding necessaries, and therefore the contract could not be set aside Pont Pal
