Question Answering (QA) is a research area that combinesresearch from various fields, with the same subject, namelyInformation Retrieval (IR), Information Extraction (IE) and NaturalLanguage Processing (NLP). QA systems are classified into two maincategories, namely open domain QA systems and closed domain QAsystems: Answers to open domain questions relate to questions aboutalmost anything like the World Wide Web. Closed domain questionanswers relate to questions under a specific domain (music, weatherforecast, etc.) The figure below is the architecture of QA
