please explain it well.
You are invited to travel in space to collect biological samples for your lab. Once back you characterize and culture two distinct strains of a xenobiotic microbe from an asteroid. You notice that one has dots and the other has stripes on the surface. By applicating a modified version of Griffith's experiment you find that genetic material is being transferred from the dead microbe with stripes to the live microbe with dots.
