URGENT: GENETICS MODE OF INHERITANCE
If we look at drosophila and the trait for wings and we see theF2 generation as
double wing females= 406
double wing males=420
one wing females=812
one wing males=846
no wing females=425
no wing males=420
the genetic ratio we get for double wing: one wing : no wingis 1:2:1 I’m unsure if they act in INCOMPLETE DOMINANCE orCO-DOMINANCE. can someone help me.
my thought process is —> incomplete dominance is when anew phenotype is expressed and codominance is when both of theother alleles are expressed. I know that one wing is theintermediate allele but is the one wing trait an example ofco-dominance saying the double and no wing show up or is it ablend of double and no wing making it incomplete dominance? I’m soconfused please help to clarify!
