After you, my trusty surgeon, have removed my basal cellcarcinoma, you may opt to flush out the wound with pure water. Whyon earth would you do such a thing?
Water is hypertonic, and will shrivel up any cancerous cellsthat are left behind
Water is isotonic, and will flush away debris left behind fromthe surgery
Water is sterile, and will kill all the pathogens leftbehind
Water is hypotonic, and will lyse any cancerous cells that areleft behind

White adipose tissue has a much higher liquid content than bonehas. This means that on an MRI image:
Neither adipose nor bone tissue will appear well, as neither ismetabolically active
Both adipose and bone tissues will appear a medium-gray, as MRIregisters overall density
Adipose tissue will appear white and bone will appear black
Bone will appear white and adipose tissue will also appearwhite
