Rewrite the following text samples below to make them moreuser-friendly. This requires that you write in a professionalwriting style (clearly, concisely and completely) in sentences andparagraphs.
1. Conference: Emphasis was placed on near shore waters, coastalwetlands, land by the lakes, the impact of changing land use, andinformation availability and management. For each conference anintegration paper was prepared for participants, bringing all thetopics together. Also for both conferences indicators were chosenand, based on expert opinions, subjective assessments were providedas to conditions in terms of good, fair, poor, etc.
2. Lead in Water: Infants and children who drink watercontaining lead in excess of the action level could experiencedelays in their physical or mental development.
