Water with a mass flow rate of 13,500 kg/h is heated from 35 to55°C in a tube and shell heatexchanger. A single pass of water at 7,000 kg/h and 95°C is used onthe shell side as the heatingfluid. Because of space limitations, the heat exchanger must be nolonger than 8 ft.
