In the schematic shown, the beam made of steel (Sut = 440, Sy = 370 MPa) with a thickness of 10 mm is subjected to F fluctuating from 0 to 0.5 kN with an uncertainty of 2 as the load factor. It is welded symmetrically (i.e., through top and bottom lines) to the plate made of same material which is bolted to the wall using 4 identical bolts.
