A PV-array system is intended to charge batteries for an off-the-grid, stand-alone system, at a house in Mungule. Everything in the house, as given in Table Ass 4, is planned to run on 240 Vac. The system will use AstroPower APex 90-W modules with DC-STC-rated current of 5.3 A and rated voltage of 17.1 V. The worst solar month is June which has 4.5 hrs of peak sun.
