3. Multsim or PSpice Simulation: Simulate in Multisim or PSpice the circuit in Fig. 5-1. Set Voo to 10 V and Ro to 1k02. o Determine the gate bias Vo to set the drain voltage to roughly Voo/2 (5 V). o Determine lp. 9m, and r, of the MOSFET at the operating point above. o Determine the small-signal (AC) gain of the amplifier at the operating point above. Simulate in Multisim or PSpice the circuit in Fig. 5-2. Set VoD = 10V, Ro= RIN = Rs = 1k0, Ro R= 20k, and C₁ C₂ = 20 uF. o Determine the gate bias V, to set the drain voltage to roughly Voo/2. o Determine lp. 9m. and ro of the MOSFET at the operating point above. Does 9mRs >> 1 hold? What is the effective transconductance of the MOSFET with degeneration? o Determine the small-signal (AC) gain of the amplifier at the operating point above.
