THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK Luca is a new student in your preschool classroom. Luca is new to Canada and is extremely limited in his understanding of the English language. A few children have come to you crying about Luca hurting them. After some careful observations, you have noticed that Luca often pushes and even bites the children during free play periods and because of this, the children seem to be trying to avoid interacting with him. Luca's parents have expressed concerns over his transition to your classroom.
