Determining Your Heart Rates
Using the formulas in the book, determine the following:
Set a fitness goal. It must be a SMART goal.
Next, set up a fitness schedule. This should match your
goals and be doable with your other time commitments (school, work,
family obligations, etc.). You may not have the time to work
out every day, and that is OK. This schedule is for you to
improve your health. To receive full credit, you must have at
least 3 entries for the fitness schedule. You also must state
the type of activity in the box. Don’t just put an “X”
there.

Aerobic exercise: 150 minutes

days per week in sets of 8-12 reps
Flexibility exercise: 2-3 days per week
for at least 60 seconds per stretch
