One way to experimentally measure the amount of CO2 produced is to bubble it through a solution of base where it reacts with the base. If you burned 2.23 g of ethanol and bubbled the resulting gasses through a solution with excess barium hydroxide, what mass of barium carbonate would be produced? Include the equations and numbers you used to get your final answer. (note see p 89 of your Chem 1151 lab manual)
