SCENARIO 2: It is Monday of your first week of actualwork (you spent one week in orientation) at your new job at a newmarketing company. You were just hired as a project manager. Inthis new role, you will be leading a team developing social mediacampaigns for other businesses. Your team is made up of three otherindividuals. Below is a list of your new teammates along with thelittle info you have on them:
Gabi Eissa – Has been with the company for 4 months inthe same position, and has been eagerly awaiting the team to fullyassemble so work can get started on an exciting newcampaign.
LaJoy Mercer – Has been with the company for 7 years,but is new to this role and team within the past 3weeks.
Jessica Long – Was hired along with you, but you haven’thad a lot of time to talk to her since you spent a week inorientation.
Everyone, including you, is eager and excited to beginworking on a new and exciting social media campaign for a largeclient. This project will take a lot of teamwork and coordination,you and your team will really need to work together and theoutcomes needed can’t be produced if you all act as “loneemployees.” Therefore, you need to coordinate/organize the team’sfirst meeting.
