Where do I see myself when I graduate? What kind of nurse do I
want to be? What will be my area of practice?
Many people imagine a nurse running through swinging doors while
pushing a gurney or moving between patient rooms in a busy ICU.
Various specialized nurses serve the needs of patients, including
improving people's appearance. I would love to utilize the
knowledge and apply it to become one of the best cosmetic nurses.
Working in aesthetics, I can take my time with patients and help
them choose the type of procedure that will make them feel happy
and confident in their skin. I hope to be part of a
medical health spa and work with a dedicated team of professionals
who strive for clinical excellence in age prevention, wellness,
relaxation, and health promotion. It would feel rewarding as I
would be making a difference in someone's life and preparing me to
take on new challenges.
Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and
Time
S- To be a cosmetic nurse injector
M-I will apply for the position as
soon as I graduate within the next 6 months
A- I would firstly attain this
goal after successfully passing my CNO nursing exam. When employed
full-time at the clinical facility, I will participate in ongoing
age prevention training, perform a skin assessment, facilitate
injection procedures such as Botox and dermal filler, and
administer non-invasive procedures. Five years after gaining more
knowledge about the cosmetic industry, I would like to open my
beauty spa and start my business.
R-Mandatory continuing education and
completing the necessary course with test clearance will help me
achieve my goal to become a cosmetic nurse.
T- About 400 hours spent in
consolidation before completing clinical to qualified to graduate
to write the CNO exams and 5 hours a week for the specialty courses
result in starting the job in a year.
