Question 2 (15 marks) The column in Figure 1 is 7 m long and is effectively held in position at both ends but only restrained in direction at the bottom. Design a suitable UC section using grade S275 steel, in terms of compression and buckling, to support a factored axial concentric load of 280 kN including self-weight of column.
