Reflecting upon Chapters 8-11 (pages 151-226), trace and
analyze the profound deterioration of Sterling, Bartle, and
especially Murphy in the final scenes of the novel, and end
with how Bartle, as the lone survivor, is able to find at
least some peace at the end of the war.
