Figure 1 shows a hot air balloon being secured by three ropes AB, AC & AD on the ground before taking off for the rides over the skies of Cappadocia, Turkey. (a) Determine the tension of ropes AB, AC & AD when the burners inject a flame, heating the air within the balloon envelope, giving a vertical force of 1.8 KN and elevating the balloon to the height H =17 m from the ground.
