Ladder should be placed such a way that not less than 61 cm and not more than 91.44 cm extends above the roofline. . Maximum standing height is 2.74 m At the Accident site: . 7'10" O Ladder was erected with 91.44 cm extending above the roofline. Ladder was setup on a stone floor with a coefficient of friction (u) of 0.35. The person had climbed 2/3 of the way up in the ladder when both the ladder and the person fell. Your Tasks: i. Draw a free-body diagram for the ladder with the person indicating all forces and lengths. ii. Develop mathematical equations to using principles of statics and state all assumptions.. iii.
