3.38 Derive the equation for the rotational inertia of a hollow disk as shown on page 356 of Appendix B. Prove that the sign is actually + instead of -. The way to do it is to subtract the moment of inertia of the hole with diameter d from the inertia of the larger disk of diameter D. Consider that the remaining material is homogeneous and of constant density.
