A pressure sensor is used to measure the pressure of a gas in a container. Given that the load cell sensor has a full-scale capacity of 12500 PSI at an excitation voltage of 5V DC. This load cell sensor is connected to a PIC16F877A microcontroller, a LED and an LCD display. The LCD should display the pressure readings and the LED have to be turned ON when the reading exceeds 9800 PSI. Assume the microcontroller ADC resolution is 10-bit. (i) (ii) Explain why the 10-bit resolution of ADC is better than 8-bit. Calculate the digital value of the ADC when the load cell reading value is 9800 PSI. Calculate the analog value of load cell if the digital value of ADC is 888.
