1. Measure the resistances R₁, R2, R3, R4 and R5 and connect the resistances in the circuit as shown in the diagram figure 5.1 (Refer to the connection set-up of the appropriate trainer). VS1 20V + A₁ R₁ 6k V₁ R₂ 2k V₂ R3 A3 A₂ 3k V3 R4 V4 2.5k R5 2.8k Vs VS2 15V Figure 5.1 2. Connect the power supply unit (psu) to the main power supply line. Do not switch on the power supply. Check the circuit connection before switching on the power supply. 3. Ensure that the output voltages of the power supply is set and adjusted to 20V dc (VS1) and 15V (VS2) then connect the supply to the circuit. 4. Measure the currents I1, I2 & 13 and the voltages V₁, V2, V3, V4 & V5 from fig 5.1 and record the measured readings on table 5.1 under the on on condition. Take note of the polarities of the responses.
