A voice-band telephone channel passes frequencies in the band from 300 Hz to b) 3300 Hz. You are to design a modem that transmits at a symbol rate of 2400 symbols per second, to achieve a bit rate of 9600 bits per second. Select an appropriate QAM signal constellation, carrier frequency, and transmit pulse shape. Sketch the spectrum of the transmitted pulse.
