www In D. melanogaster, the genes miniature (m) controlling wing length and white eyes are both found on chromosome I(X), separated by a distance of 34.6 CM. In a dihybrid fly (Xm+w+ws), what proportion of the gametes would you expect to correspond to NCO vs. recombinant? In a testcross of the dihybrid female with a male having white eyes and miniature wings, how many of each progeny class would you expect if the cross resulted in 300 progeny?
