1) A solution has a concentration of 0.05 kg/L of glucose. What is its concentration in ppm?
Answer: The answer with explanation at the bottom is whatit is put in the answer page but Im not sure if it is correct orincorrect:
- Ppm is milligrams of solute per kilogram of solution
0.05 kg = 0.05 x 10000 = 50000mg = 55 ppm.
I thought the final answer is 50000 ppm, but I don't know whythe final answer in the answer sheet is 55 ppm. So, could youexplain it for me? Thank you!
