Water flows in a 60 cm diameter galvanized iron pipe. If the energy gradient is 0.002, determine the flow rate. Find also the nominal thickness of the viscous sub layer. Given, kinematic viscosity = 10 m/s. Use an initial value of 0.01 for f(friction factor) as first trial and use maximum of 2 trials or until the value converges to 2 d.p. Neglect minor head losses.
