2. AC Analysis [16 Marks] Using an input source voltage of 10 mA (amplitude) with a source resistance of 600 m; (a) Draw the AC equivalent of the circuit in Fig 1. [2 marks] (b) Calculate the overall gain A'V = Vout /Vs in decibels. [2 Marks] (c) Run an ac analysis in LTspice and show the frequency response (magnitude and phase only of Vout/s) up to 500 kHz. Show the resulting plot in your report. [2 marks] (d) Determine the largest amplitude for the input signal voltage before distortion occurs. (Hint: Find maximum I first) (3 Marks) (e) Using LTSpice, show the output voltage (1) before and (1) after distortion (Hint: choose a specific frequency in the midband range and do a transient analysis). [2 Marks) (1) Calculate all of the cutoff frequencies for the amplifier. Confirm using LTSpice if your answers are correct. [3 marks)
