Question 2 (15%) A 250 MW, 50 Hz power system has a speed regulation of 5% based on its own rating. Due to a sudden load demand change, the system frequency decreases from 50 Hz to a steady state value of 49.8 Hz. Determine the required increase in the turbine power output. The losses and the dependence of load on frequency can be neglected.
