Assume that a 5 MVA, 13.8 kV (line), 3-phase, Y-connected AC generator has R= 0.05 Ω per phase and X = 20 Ω per phase. If the machine DC excitation is adjusted so to produce (90%) of its rated terminal voltage at no load and then kept constant,
a. Draw the Generator equivalent circuit
Then, find its terminal voltage when the generator is supplying half rated current at
b. 0.9 lagging power factor
c. 0.8 leading power factor
Dont forget the excitation i think it will be multiplied with E
