PURPOSE
This is an individual assignment that will provide an opportunity for the students to examine the practical application of Strategic Human Resource Management principles/functions in a local organization and evaluate and understand the challenges and the impact/benefit of implementing strategic human resource management in an organization.
REQUIREMENT
Selecting any local organization prepare a report detailing the following:
Present an overview of the company in terms of the context of business, its Vision and Mission and overall measurements of business success for this company.
Critically analyze and examine the organizations Human Resource functions of Staffing and Reward Management. You MUST apply theories/model taught in the subject .
Based on findings from part 2 propose relevant Strategic Human Resource Management strategies/recommendations for the functional areas.
Present a conclusion discussing the strategic impact for the organisation from the recommended strategies/changes in the HR functional areas ( staffing and reward management) .
