Lisais ravida 2 para I on admission & ls 25 yrs. old. Her husband, Joe, is 27 years old and plans to accompany Lisa in the operating room to see the birth of their child. Lisa and her son are transferred to OB recovery where you will continue to care for her. She is planning on breastfeeding 3. Describe your nursing care during this period of time. 4. What critical assessments will you perform? 5. What necessary interventions will you complete? 6. How can you assist the family to bond? The following day you are assigned to care for Lisa again on the pastpartum unit. The shift report indicates that Lisa's lungs are clear, bowel sounds are present, fundus is firm at the umbilicus, and her lochia flow is minimal. She has ambulated to the bathroom and voided 450 ml. Urine after the Foley was d/ed early a.m. Her IV is still in place, and she is tolerating fluids with no nausea. Her lmg/het draw from this a.m. was 10.2/30 respectively. She is having problems with breastfeeding as her new born is eager to eat and then falls asleep at the breast. She is also rating her pain at 6 out of 10. 7. List your expected assessments and describe your nursing interventions. & What are your priority nursing diagnoses 9. How will you include her husband Joe & her daughter Sara who are visiting all day?
