According to a survey, Quebecoiss show that they are bon
vivants. However, francophones and non-francophones in Quebec do
not have absolutely the same financial priorities.
One of the survey questions was:
What is most important to you?
a)Fair balance
b) DK/Refusal
c)Save
d) To enjoy life
The distribution of the results according to whether the
respondent is French-speaking or non-French-speaking concerning the
first two choices of the question is presented in the Excel sheet
"Question 5" of this lab
Can we say that at the 5% level of significance
i) That there is no significant difference in the
importance of savings between Francophones and
non-Francophones.
ii) That Francophones attach more importance to enjoying
life than non-Francophones
