Question 3 Balance in the cashbook of Mr. Hunter as at 31/01/20 was £ 85,000. On the same date the balance as per the bank statement was £ 101,975 On examining the bank statement and the cash book the following difference were observed. 1)Tinterest income amounting £9,500 collected by the bank did not appear in the cash book 2)TBank charges amount to £ 1,325 3)TCheque totalling £ 14,500 had been paid by Peter into the bank on 31/01/20 but were not credited by the bank until 01/02/20 4)TA standing order to Julia of £3500 had been paid by the bank but not entered in the cashbook 5)TAmounts paid to Tom but not presented for payment to the bank amount to £ 26,800 Required: i. Revised cash book for 31 January 2020 after adjustments Bank reconciliation statement as at 31 January 2020 ii.
