Zimm plot is typically constructed based on the light scattering measurements, where the molecular weight Mw, the polymer-solvent interaction parameter B, and the radius of gyration, Rg, of the polymer can be obtained. The right shows one example of the Zimm plot and the linear fit is given in the embedded table. Assuming the wavelength of the laser is 20 = 647 nm and the measurement is performed in the air with a refractive index, n = 1.0. (Note that the Kc/Rg has a unit of mol/g, the c has a unit of g/mL). Please estimate the weight average molecular weight, the second viral coefficient, and the radius of gyration of the polymer in the solution. x 10-4 24 143 113.6 00014 90° 22 y 1.36 2.27x 66.4 20F 369 18 Kc/R re 16 y = 136 +0.59 000 025 0.50 0.75 1.00 125 sin (6/2)+100c
