r 2. The electric field in an electromagnetic wave has the following form: E. cos(kr - wt) a) Find the Poynting Vector b) Find the total amount of energy/time crossing a spherical surface a distance r=R from the origin of the wave. Then integrate over one period to find the total energy that crosses the surface within one period. c) Do the same for a spherical surface at a distance 2R and compare to part (a). d) Compare the answers to (b) and (c). What does this mean?
